Duration: 31 Oct 2027 – Extendable (36 Months)
Working Schedule: Work hours per day: 10 hrs/day Workdays per Week: 6 days/week Workday per Month: 26 days/month Work Location/Assignment Type: Qatar Onshore.

Job Purpose
As the Head of Brownfield & Shutdown Planning, you will lead a dedicated team to deliver high-quality shutdown projects while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and compliance with the Shutdown Project Management System (SDMS). You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless alignment with stakeholders and implementing effective strategies to meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy: Drive HSE principles and life-saving rules across all shutdown planning activities. Implement and oversee shutdown management strategies to ensure timely and safe execution. Planning & Execution: Coordinate all shutdown deliverables and ensure deadlines are consistently met. Establish and maintain detailed schedules and planning as per SDMS requirements. Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and issue monthly progress reports. Stakeholder Management: Act as the single point of contact for shutdown planning. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities and address issues. Participate in workshops, risk assessments, and critical reviews to support project success. Risk & Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with SDMS standards and procedures. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications and Experience
  Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field. Professional Experience: 10+ years of experience in major project planning and scheduling, with at least 5 years in shutdown execution. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary, multicultural teams in a dynamic environment. Strong track record in coordinating projects to align with organizational policies and engineering standards   Skills & Competencies: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to confidently interact with Operations and PMTs. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities. Expertise in problem-solving, innovation, and forward-thinking strategies. Commitment to fostering teamwork and empowering others.
