The Head of Building Performance, HBP is responsible for managing the high standard of building performance and operational risk and compliance across all the services, Mechanical, Electrical, Vertical transport and public health systems. Ensuring consistent, seamless, and efficient standards are met, to ensure the operations facilities team can focus on their core business.
The HBP will familiarize themselves with the Client’s sustainability strategy to actively manage the energy and building performance to deliver optimized energy efficiencies and provide reporting that demonstrates compliance and achievements. The HBP is to be certified Nabers Assessor. If this accreditation is not already achieved, they will be willing to undertake in the first 12 months of employment.
HBP will have experience in delivering engineering excellence through robust asset management frameworks such as ISO55001 and be responsible for the development of engineering policies, strategies and implementation plans that meet the building needs and exceed occupier expectations

40 Leadenhall will be aligned to the JLL’s sustainability commitments, the World Green Building Councils Net Zero Carbon Building Commitment, and the Better Building Partnership Climate change commitment. The HBP will actively manage the energy & building performance in line with the pathway to NZC & DFP. Manage the supply partners to deliver optimised energy efficiencies and provide reporting that demonstrates compliance.
Operational/ Technical
Direct and Manage the Design for performance/sustainability manager and the Building performance managerObjective of the DFP energy manager is to maximise the capability of existing technology - building systems. Using the SMART building systems, platforms, and data to ensure that Client’s assets are being operated at optimum performance and energy is being closely managed and reported on in line with the Nabers accreditationDFP manager will assist in collating, measuring, and analysing building data required to achieve the initial Nabers rating. Leasing with the HDFP and key retained construction contractors and design engineers that are responsible for achieving the design rating of 5.5 starsThe DFP manger will maintain compliance with other certifications such as, WELL, BREEAM, R.E.S.E.T, and othersObjective of the BPF is to manage risk and compliance across all areas of the building, Lifts, M & E systems, water hygiene, cooling tower and general risk assessments actions - observations. Update and manage the JLL Riskwise platform with regular updates on identified risks, making recommendations to close out identified actions once completed. Hold regular meetings with the operations teams on outstanding risks and the management ofBPM will also have oversight of the permit to work systemAct as the lead point of contact (LPOC) for all internal service delivery teams and coordinate all transactional activities whilst continually developing and maintaining exceptional relationships with all key stakeholdersThis role is key to the successful development and support of our Client’s and Occupier’s business.
