Head of Business and Sales Operations

Why this role matters:

 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Head of Business and Sales Operations to lead our business transformation and sales enablement efforts. This role will be pivotal in driving the turnaround strategy and scaling our business operations in the newly created Applications business unit, responsible for delivering  the best in class customer experience in the UCaaS/CCaaS industry.

 

The ideal candidate will oversee project management, sales commissions, business transformation, and sales enablement, managing a globally dispersed team of approximately 25 people. 

 

What you will do: 

Business Transformation: Lead and manage business transformation initiatives to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and drive growth.  Sales Operations: Oversee the end-to-end sales operations, including sales process optimization, pipeline management, and sales performance analytics.  Project Management:Steer large, cross-functional projects and build consensus with senior leadership across the organization. Sales Commissions: Design and manage sales commission plans to incentivize and reward high performance, ensuring alignment with business goals.  Sales Enablement: Develop and execute sales enablement strategies, providing the sales team with the tools, training, and resources needed to succeed.  Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 25 professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.  Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, finance, sales and customer implementation, customer success, product and engineering  teams, to ensure alignment and drive cohesive business strategies.  Performance Metrics: Steer and support the execution of the overall  OKR strategy for Applications

 

What you will bring:

Experience: Demonstrated experience in business and sales operations, with significant experience in a turnaround and startup environment, Leadership: Proven track record of leading and managing teams, with strong leadership and mentoring skills.  Project Management: Expertise in project management, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.  Sales Operations: Deep understanding of sales operations, including sales process optimization, pipeline management, and sales analytics.  Sales Enablement: Experience in developing and implementing sales enablement programs that drive sales performance.  Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.  Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.  Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
