Head of Business Development of Indirect Sales channel (m/w/d)
Job Description

We are looking for a Head of Business Development of Indirect Sales channel  in Industrial Refrigeration (IRF), a leadership role responsible for developing sales growth with wholesalers.

The position requires a strong leader, who can effectively engage with sales teams in a matrix  and  without direct reports, deliver on ambitious sales targets.

It is a global role, so you could expect about 20-25% travel activities in a year.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.  

 

Manage in complex matrix 2 sales organizations (Industrial Refrigeration team of 70 people and Indirect Sales team of 100 people) Ensure in both teams globally and locally strong motivation, alignment, coordination and execution Provide attractive value creation for wholesalers and contractors (in terms of providing new sales leads and opportunities to cross sell more products) through pull creation at End Users for retrofit (decarbonization) projects Effective management of key stakeholders on executive level (Regional Sales Leaders in both organizations, End Users Business Development Leadership, Wholesalers' executives,...)   Background & Skills

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of lean commercial sales tools and processes, such as Value Selling, to drive effective sales strategies and customer engagement. A result-oriented mindset is essential, ensuring a focus on achieving business objectives and delivering measurable outcomes.

 

 

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, working experience in relevant industry and a background in the HVAC or Refrigeration sector is a plus (2-5 years preferred) Extensive experience in B2B sales, preferably in an industrial or project-driven environment. Successful experience in sales to wholesalers is a plus Ability to work and influence all levels of the organization from Senior Leaders, Functional Leaders to project managers and practitioners in all functional areas Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess challenges, identify opportunities, and implement effective solutions A high degree of independence, good judgment, a positive attitude, and an innovative spirit is essential to drive continuous improvement and adapt to changing business needs Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams globally is crucial to fostering alignment and driving initiatives across different regions and business units Fluent English level (speaking & writing) Employee Benefits
