In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our strategy and driving business growth by working closely with stakeholders across segments and business units. With the team primarily located in Graasten, being based there will enable close collaboration and effective alignment with colleagues and customers. Job ResponsibilitiesAs the Head of Business Development & Product Management, you will step into a high-impact role, managing significant partnerships across Danfoss and leading efforts to close substantial deals. This is a position that demands both strategic vision and hands-on execution, as you collaborate with key stakeholders to unlock new opportunities and deliver meaningful results.
Collaboration will be central to your success, as you will work cross-functionally across departments, segments, and geographies to align goals and ensure seamless project delivery. Your ability to navigate and influence complex internal and external networks will be instrumental in driving the execution of ambitious business plans and shaping critical decisions that have a lasting impact on the organization.
Your key responsibilities will also include:
Develop and implement tailored business strategies for targeted applications, ensuring solutions align with each customer’s unique needs. Understand customers’ businesses to identify opportunities for growth and long-term success. Lead engagement with both existing and potential customers, fostering strong and lasting relationships. Manage customer interactions from early-stage discussions to final implementation, delivering high-value, integrated solutions that meet evolving market demands. Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and legislative changes to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies as needed, keeping Danfoss ahead in the market. We are looking for someone who brings both strategic thinking and practical execution skills to the table. The ideal candidate will have:
A master’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field. At least 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or a technical solutions role, preferably within energy efficiency or related industries such as pumps, fans, compressors, or conveyers. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to senior leadership. A proven ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and collaborate effectively across teams. Strong commercial acumen, with a keen eye for market trends and emerging opportunities.
Your ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution will be crucial, as will your passion for driving change and innovation in a rapidly evolving market.
