Head of Business Development - RG Live

As the Head of Business Development for RG Live, your primary role is to explore new event opportunities, and develop ways we can continue to grow, including Light Trails in the UK and overseas, concerts, partnerships and new event formats, and working to secure and implement sponsors.

What you'll do: Work with the company directors, local Sony Music teams and regional partners to identify potential opportunities. Identify and establish partnerships with venues, vendors, sponsors, and other key stakeholders to enhance the value proposition of events and experiences. Leverage existing and new partnerships to expand, reach and improve service offerings. Collaborate with the RGL marketing team to establish a business case for potential events, including key financials and size of target audiences. Travel to potential new venues to establish if opportunities are viable. Co-ordinate and complete tender submissions for new opportunities. Propose and agree initial budgets with all stakeholders. Work closely with our production and design partners to establish the event brief, viability, operational plans and delivery. Provide regular updates to the Director of Experience and Events, and the RGL board. Draft and complete contracts with Sony, legal teams and venues. Hand over event management, concept, and venue relationships to the operational teams at RG Live. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and competitive analysis in the events and experiences industry. This includes understanding client needs and preferences to tailor offerings effectively   Who you are: You will have demonstrable experience and success in a previous Business Development role in the live events space You will have extensive knowledgable of the live events and concerts sector You are self-motivated, pro-active and can work collaboratively within a small, successful team.  You will have previous experience of working with host venues to explore new and successful event opportunities,  Financial management experience such as forecasting and budgeting is important
