This position will report to the General Manager: M24 Logistics.
Role overview
Responsible for enabling the business to grow through identifying strategic opportunities, leading business transformation initiatives, aligning operational
structure with client strategies, and successfully executing projects. It further involves strong collaboration with stakeholders, managing cross-functional teams, and interacting with clients
The requirements for the role are:
An Honours Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; an MBA degree is preferred.
15+ years of proven experience in a senior leadership role within logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce fulfilment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Business solutions:
Lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions to address client needs and market demands.
Oversee the integration of technology and data analytics into business solutions to optimise performance.
Pull together internal and external stakeholders to improve processes and the divisions core competencies.
Lead research and development initiatives to ensure the division remains best in class, creating a competitive edge.
Project management:
Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time,within scope, and budget.
Lead and ensure the onboarding of clients before handover to Account Management
Business development and strategy:
Build strategic working relationships with clients to ensure that their specific requirements are addressed, to monitor and grow existing business
Identify, generate, and implement new business opportunities on an ongoing basis to achieve predetermined targets.
Represent the division at trade shows and supervise the marketing elements to promote the business.
Analysed market trends and customers need to identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion.
Ensure the effective use of data analytics and business intelligence to inform decision-making and drive strategic business improvements.
Monitor and report on business performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
