Accountabilities & Responsibility Areas + To ensure that Alistair Group maximizes profitability and every Client has the best customer experience possible. + Synthesize information from subcontracting/planning  team, RF  operations and warehousing  teams, sales team, agents and border/port reports in order to determine market rates and key targets on a twice-monthly basis.  Prepare a monthly report on Commercial trends and plans + Directly manage client liaison team  to ensure that the customer experience is seemless + Develop and hold a close relationship with all current and potential clients.  Further develop sales personnel and skills where needed to drive key account relationships.  Develop a pipeline of future opportunities and position The Company to win key tenders + Ensure that accurate and "winning" quotations are submitted whenever possible + Maintain a competitor analysis to assist strategically and for transfer pricing purposes + Close the loop of financial recons and quotations to ensure that we focus our time on the most profitable routes possible. + Develop pricing models and strategies which will position Alistair Group as the market leader for our own fleet and subcontracted fleet Essential Skills: + Pricing models + Client liaison team management + Clear communication skills ensuring clear and candid information + Strong management skills ensuring efficient use of resources + Computer Literacy to effectively operate and manipulate online management systems + Problem solving skills to ensure obstacle to progress are overcome Qualifications + Relevant tertiary education + Successful track record in a similar position + Experience in the logistics/mining industry would be an advantage + Experience in a similar role would be an advantage + Well organised and has good attention to details + Minimum 7 years of Experience By completing your details and clicking “Submit Application” you consent to Alistair Group processing your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy (https://www.alistairgroup.com/privacy/) .
