The Opportunity:
In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, managing and overseeing the governance and strategic framework for compliance and business sustainability, to support the China Diagnostics organization and ensure sustainable growth. You will effectively cultivate and further strengthen a culture of integrity, drive compliance risk and opportunity management and a state of the art compliance program, cultivate continuous improvement of the compliance and business sustainability processes, supporting the organization with an effective and proactive business oriented approach.
You will report directly to the General Manager of the China Diagnostics organisation and become a member of the local leadership team as well as the Diagnostics Compliance Leadership Team. This will foster a deep and timely understanding of all activities and a proactive and effective co-creation of compliant and sustainable solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
Design and implement the enterprise-wide compliance strategy, objectives, and initiatives in alignment with Roche's priorities.
Monitor and ensure the implementation of Roche’s Compliance Program, adapting to legal changes and supporting departmental effectiveness.
Foster a culture of compliance through leadership and accountability in talent management within the Compliance function.
Serve as the subject matter expert in compliance, overseeing the development and execution of compliance programs and guidelines.
Identify, manage, and mitigate compliance risks to support sustainable business operations.
Perform compliance risk assessments, monitoring, auditing activities, and ensure thorough documentation of compliance records.
Lead the design and implementation of training programs, compliance education, and the use of an ethics/compliance reporting system.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address non-compliance issues and enhance regulatory relationships, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and internal processes.
Who You Are:
Education
Bachelor or Master Degree preferably in the Legal, Finance, Economics, Business, Administration, Audit area.
Proficiency in both spoken and written English; commend of Mandarin is a strong advantage.
Experience:
10years of working experience in Audit, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Assurance or Governance related professions.
Experience leading/transforming a team and successfully managing and developing people.
Strong knowledge of relevant compliance policies and regulations, and solid understanding of the diagnostics, medtech and healthcare industry.
Strong interpersonal skills and experience in change management, strong skills in Project Management.
