Responsibilities

Policy Development and Management: Develop, implement, and manage internal policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance. Set and maintain standards to ensure business operations comply with applicable regulations and that the compliance program is both effective and efficient.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, including AML Directives, GDPR, PSD2, PSD3, DORA and other. Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization.Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor Outpayce’s risk profile and compliance with regulations and internal policies. Generate regular reports for senior management and regulatory authorities as needed.Advisory, Training, and Awareness: Advise senior management and departments on compliance matters, including the implications of strategic decisions and new regulations. Lead the Outpayce Risk and Compliance Academy to provide ongoing training and ensure employees understand their roles and the importance of compliance.Team Management: Lead and develop the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.


About the ideal candidate

10+ years of experience in a regulatory compliance role within the payments, fintech, or financial services industry.Proven expertise and knowledge of financial regulations: deep understanding of financial regulations
applicable to EMIs (e.g. PSD2, PSD3, DORA, EBA guidelines, among others)Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical business requirements.Proven track record as a Senior Compliance leader, championing a positive risk culture through the formulation of risk-mitigation processes and risk advisory for products and services.Dealing with customer complaints (SAC, Servicio de Atención al Cliente).Exceptional leadership and team management skills.Demonstrated experience in regulatory reporting, responding to audit findings, and liaising with regulators and external auditors.Proficiency in compliance monitoring systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Fluency in English and Spanish.Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
