Job Description :
As a Head of Corporate Team, he/she will lead Local Corporate team to promote a range of MUFG products and services to deepen existing client relationships and develop new customers fitting target client profiles. Responsible for assessing the customers and industries risk as well as reviewing all credit applications for deals to ensure pricing, product offerings and the structuring of the deal is aligned to business strategy and delivers a high quality of service to customers. Responsible for management, developing and rewarding for Direct Reports.
**Strategic**
+ Develop and lead business strategies and plans of identifying new revenue opportunities and building customer as well as revenue business to align to the Bank’s direction/vision.
+ Lead corporate coverage team to effectively execute client account plans to deliver target business results promote cross selling opportunities based on the plans.
+ Understand the competitive landscape, review department’s performance and identify opportunities for growth as well as risks.
**Financial**
+ Oversee the delivery of relevant banking services to customers to meet the department's revenue targets.
+ Achieve profit target from portfolio under supervising Relationship Manager's portfolio as well as increase profitability of the Accounts by proactive marketing.
+ Develop business opportunities in consideration of RORA/ROE and profit targets.
+ Ensure BSC/KPIs and assigned targets (not limited to financial targets) are completed with stipulated timeframe.
**Customer**
+ Lead the team to build effective relationships with key customers to develop new business and to deliver a high quality of service to customers.
+ Anticipate as well as be sensitive to shifting customer expectations and guide the department to consider appropriate measures to ensure the Bank stays ahead of competitors.
+ Work in partnership with colleagues across the region to deliver an integrated service for our customers, as well as to share knowledge and best practice on corporate banking topics.
+ Work in partnership with Relationship Managers across Branches to discuss complex cross boarder deals to seek commercial solutions.
+ Work in partnership with colleagues in Head Office to discuss complex deals and seek commercial solutions for the customer.
+ Work in partnership with various departments including but not limited to Operations and Legal to discuss any issue associated with the deals.
+ Work in partnership with colleagues across the region and MUFG entities, including but not limited to Morgan Stanley to leverage their products and expertise for deals as well as to maintain relationship for future business opportunities.
+ Visit local and overseas customers when required, to represent the business to resolve complex issues and maintain the customer’s relationship as well as services.
**People**
+ Responsible for managing (objective setting & performance management), developing (coaching, career progression & training) and rewarding (financial and non-financial reward decisions) for Direct Reports.
+ Ensure full compliance with prevailing regulations (including global and regional standards) showing examples of ethical behavior and following all internal controls.
+ Oversee and supervise the staff performance and build team spirit to drive the positive and can-do mind set for department.
