WPB Credit and Financial Crime Risk Control - Credit Control Services

We are currently seeking a high-caliber professional to join our department asHead of Credit Control Services.

Principal responsibilities

Oversee the onshore and offshore WPB’s underwriting and collections operations function
Act as the first line of defense Control Owner of credit related controls ensuring effective monitoring and mitigating of credit risk for WPB
Partner with product teams and risk function to review and optimize credit policies for sustainable business growth
Monitor and analyze the loan portfolio ensuring timely actions when deterioration is observed
Manage external stakeholder relationship including credit bureaus and debt collection agencies for ongoing improvement in underwriting and collections operations effectiveness and efficiency
Ensure team operation is in full compliance with the Bank’s policies, regulatory standards and requirements
Being a change champion to drive future state architecture of the underwriting and collections operations

Strong business acumen with good problem solving, communication and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills to lead and manage the team to deliver excellent results
Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage
