To support this ambition in Denmark, we are looking for a Head of Danish Tax to join our Finance team in Denmark who can lead a team of 6 skilled tax professionals.

Activities

Your Key Responsibilities

As the Head of Danish Tax, you will play a central role in leading the Tax team and developing the Tax function in relation to HCT, CT, Transfer Pricing, and VAT. You will be responsible for handling agreements and relationships with external advisors, managing tax payments, and ensuring compliance with Danish tax and social security regulations. You will also represent TotalEnergies towards the Danish Government and act as a tax advisor to TotalEnergies Denmark management.

Your areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:


Tax Business Partnering

Implement and maintain Global tax business strategies in TotalEnergies DKEnsure alignment with the overall tax strategy of TotalEnergies and commercial strategies of TotalEnergiesAdvise on the tax and transfer pricing implications for new business models, transactions and strategic initiatives

 

Compliance & Documentation

Manage the preparation of all tax (Corporate and Hydrocarbon) and transfer pricing returns and documentation in accordance with guidelines and local regulations + working closely with internal and external stakeholdersEnsure timely and accurate filing of tax and transfer pricing returns and documentation to meet statutory deadlines
 
 

Audit & Risk Management

Support and manage tax and transfer pricing audits and disputes, liaising with tax authorities, internal colleagues and external advisorsMitigate risks by conducting periodic reviews and assessments of tax and transfer pricing positionsProactively monitor changes in tax and transfer pricing legislation 
 
 

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with internal teams including the Group Tax team, Finance, Legal, and Commercial to ensure timely, relevant and commercially focused advice is provided to the businessEstablish and maintain relationships with all stakeholders across TotalEnergiesWork closely with external advisors and tax authorities when required to address tax and transfer pricing issues and auditsProvide training and guidance to internal finance teams and other stakeholders on tax and transfer pricing matters Candidate Profile

Your Profile

You hold a degree in tax, finance, or a related field and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in tax and transfer pricing, with at least 5 years in a leadership position. You have strong leadership skills, mentorship and coaching skills, the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, and the ability to constructively challenge and influence others. You are knowledgeable about tax policies and international tax standards and can focus effort and prioritize work to deliver business value.
