Head of Data and Analytics COE
**Job Description** Blue Cross NC realizes that proactive and meaningful analytics insights are critical to every decision we make to fulfil the mission of making healthcare better for all North Carolinians. We are currently searching for a Head of our Analytics Center of Excellence to drive Blue Cross NC to realize the full potential of a highly effective Analytics organization. Develop, optimize and communicate BCNC’s Enterprise Data & Analytics vision and strategy + Establish and communicate a clear vision, strategy and roadmap that establishes ownership and accountability for fully realizing the enormous potential and impact of the company’s Data and Analytics assets. + Identifyopportunities to accelerate value realization and create competitive differentiation leveraging Analytics. + Be a catalyst for transformation towards an analytically powered organization by evangelizing Analytics capabilities and relentlessly pursuing adoption across the enterprise. + Communicate results effectively to establish and enhance the reputation of our enterprise as a Data and Analytics driven organization. Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders and leadership team to enable impactful business Analytics + Partner with leaders to fully understand their most critical needs / priorities and provide consultative thought leadership on how best to leverage BCNC’s Analytics COE to achieve their business objectives. + Build strong, productive cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment, prioritization, and focus on the highest value initiatives to ensure optimal resource utilization. + Empower business users through powerful yet easy to use self-service capabilities that enable deep and proactive exploration, understanding, and insights into their specific business areas. + Work closely with the IT leadership to establish the infrastructure required for powerful analytics along with the high quality and well-governed data required to fuel it. + Lead and cultivate a best-in-class analytics function of highly skilled and innovative analysts and data scientists capable of supporting the evolving analytics needs of the enterprise. + Build relationships both within Blue Cross NC and the external data science and analytics community to continue to attract and retainthe best and brightest employees. + Partner with HR to establishstrong training and development programs that continually refresh analytical and data skills while building business domain expertise to create top-notch analytics talent. Build / partner as needed to ensure best in class analytics capabilities can support the broad needs of the enterprise + Partner with IT to build and continuously optimize our data & analytics technology stack to future- proof our business and develop highly competitive and differentiating data/analytics capabilities + Establish strong governance and best practices to ensure active management of risks around quality, privacy, bias, and disparate impact. + Stay abreast of emerging data and analytics capabilities that are relevant to our business; develop and implement strategic partnerships as needed to address critical enterprise needs and accelerate innovation / time to market **What We Require** + Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of leadership experience in analytics, healthcare analytics or business intelligence environment.  + In lieu of degree, 14 years’ experience as listed above.     **What We Love** + Passionate, creative and innovative leader. + Proven track record of execution.
