Purpose of Role:
We're looking for a visionary Head of Digital - APAC, to spearhead the commercialization of Weir's cutting-edge digital solutions platform, NEXT Intelligence, enhancing our market presence and driving revenue growth across the Asia-Pacific region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital strategy and a proven ability to turn innovative ideas into successful business ventures across the mining industry.
Leading the execution of our digital strategy, you will collaborate closely with divisional teams to navigate business goals and market dynamics effectively. Your leadership will drive the adoption and profitability of digital products throughout their lifecycle. With a strong emphasis on stakeholder management, you will unite diverse teams to successfully achieve our strategic objectives.
What is NEXT Intelligence?
NEXT Intelligence is Weir’s advanced digital platform that leverages real-time data, artificial intelligence, and smart technologies to transform mining operations. Through innovations like vibration monitoring, wear sensors, and condition tracking, it enables predictive maintenance, operational efficiency, and safety improvements. By integrating these technologies, NEXT Intelligence helps customers optimize their equipment usage, reduce downtime, and increase sustainability across their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy execution plan for Digital, focused on the commercialization and go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall strategic objectives.
Collaborate closely with the Divisional Digital team to optimize resource utilization in APAC for effective execution of the overall Digital strategy.
Identify and address any roadblocks or challenges that may impede the successful execution of the Digital strategy & commercialization
Work with our support teams to harness the existing capability we have in the business and convert that into an ongoing revenue stream to protect the core and grow into new markets.
Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to ensure the seamless coordination of our Digital strategy.
Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to assess the effectiveness of the strategy execution plan, making necessary adjustments as needed.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor of Business, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or proven industry experience.
Strong understanding of digital product lifecycle management:
Demonstrated ability to commercialize new product groups and roll-out plans.
A demonstrated ability to develop and execute on strategic growth plans.
Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
Ability to navigate complex market dynamics and drive business goals.
