Bachelor degree or combination of experience and education​ 10+ years of progressively senior technology leadership experiences with large scale outcomes aimed at consumers.​ 10+ years with progressive responsibilities in mobile product development and Agile methods

Demonstrated technical expertise in digital marketing and engagement platforms like Adobe's suite of products.​ Proven expertise in front end engineering technology stack, native iOS and android mobile app technologies​ Demonstrated thought leadership in driving digital engagement through building digital solutions along the principles of reusability, scalibility, security & compliance​ Demonstrated technical vision with strong DevSecOps expertise across large-scale Agile teams. Ability to identify key drivers, core assumptions, and significant trends across a complex, competitive landscape.​ Proven experience in leveraging digital, big data, cloud, and AI (Artificial Intelligence) for competitive advantage​ Experience with formulating vision and strategy to transform, simplify, and modernize the implementation of customer-facing capabilities​ Experience with leading cloud-based application teams​ Experience with underlying application program (API) methods for systems integrations/data exchanges​ Coordination, integration, and testing activities within and outside of the product line​ Deep troubleshooting skills and capabilities to lead a triage team across a complex ecosystem with multiple application and service providers in times of critical service interruption​ Ability to influence business partners to develop products that aims to shorten product development cycles and rapidly discover if a proposed business model is viable​ Ability to lead a highly skilled managers (LL5) team and a portfolio of applications that are at various stages of the lifecycle with varying scope and complexity​ Strong leadership and the ability to teach others by role modeling our Ford OS Behaviors​

What you’ll do…

The Ford Credit Digital Engineering Organization creates digital software product solutions that foster deep customer relationships and become a reason for customers to choose and stay with Ford. The VP, Digital Engineering: Web & Mobile will own and shape all digital experiences offered to retail consumers including web and mobile app. These digital assets will deliver a best-in-class end-to-end customer experience that makes Ford Credit a loyalty machine and position Ford Credit for success. You will work on forward-looking strategy on customer interactions with Ford Credit, drive the development of roadmaps for execution, and lead technical team in implementing the digital software solutions.​

This is an exciting technology opportunity for a seasoned technologist, coach, and leader with passion for customer experience to create technology-driven transformation that drives strategic value and customer loyalty for Ford Credit.​

This position will report to Ford Credit SVP of Digital Engineering.
