Allianz Holding Eins is responsible for Central & Eastern Europe (CE) focusing on strategic development, planning and leadership for financial services sectors within the region. The region covers 11 countries in total Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine.
Purpose of the position:
The Distribution & Partner Management position is responsible for shaping and executing the international Bancassurance distribution strategy across Allianz Central Europe (CE). This role focuses on establishing key strategic guidelines, managing key partnerships, and developing distribution strategies to drive performance and partner satisfaction across all markets.
The role involves close collaboration with partner banks, regional leadership, and local teams to ensure alignment with Allianz CE Bancassurance objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Steer and oversee all Bancassurance sales & distribution activities, ensuring alignment with Allianz CE business objectives. Develop and implement the Bancassurance sales & distribution strategy across CE, fostering best-practice exchange and cross-country collaboration. Cultivate and expand strategic partnerships, collaborating with local units for business development. Lead omni-channel distribution strategies (digital, call center, branch, remote banking…) to enhance customer experience and drive growth. Strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partner banks. Monitor performance metrics, adjust strategies as needed, and ensure distribution efficiency through continuous improvement and data-driven insights
Key Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Academic Degree: Business Management, Economics, or related fields. Experience: 5-8 years of international experience in distribution management, preferably within retail banking, insurance, or bancassurance sectors. Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of direct distribution channels in financial services, with experience in bancassurance or retail banking partnerships. Language Skills: Fluent in English; additional knowledge of a Central and Eastern European (CEE) language is a plus. Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing and cultivating relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders across different countries.

Sales & Distribution Expertise: Proven experience in managing sales and distribution channels, driving performance, and optimizing cross-country synergies. Business Development: Strong capability in identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities, with a focus on growing Bancassurance partnerships. Data-Driven Decision Making: Competency in leveraging data insights to enhance distribution strategies, track performance, and improve partner relationships. Cross-Cultural Competence: Proficiency in managing partnerships and projects across multiple countries, adapting to various cultural and market environments.

For this position we offer a yearly gross salary of at least EUR 100.000 gross (full-time basis). Overpay is possible in case of and depending on appropriate experience, qualifications and commitment.
