JOB SUMMARY:
The Head of Ecommerce is a strategic leader responsible for managing and optimizing all aspects of an ecommerce business. Your expertise will drive sustainable sales, enhance customer experiences, and align with brand objectives. This role will manage all the Newell brands in multiple E-commerce platform including Tmall, Taobao, JD.com, Douyin, PDD, Wechat etc. and lead digital marketing in these platforms to drive great business return.
JOB DUTIES:
Develop and implement e-commerce strategy that drives brand awareness, revenue growth, and customer acquisition. Determine key capabilities, investments and resources needed to support the strategy, and build multi-year roadmap to deliver. Assess trends in the marketplace to provide thought leadership around opportunities for the brand in existing and emerging online channels. Continuously analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead. Develop and implement e-commerce strategy that drives brand awareness, revenue growth, and customer acquisition. Determine key capabilities, investments and resources needed to support the strategy, and build multi-year roadmap to deliver. Assess trends in the marketplace to provide thought leadership around opportunities for the brand in existing and emerging online channels. Lead and develop a team of ecommerce talents into key players in the organization. Continuously analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead. Define pricing strategies based on market dynamics, competitive positioning, and customer value. Curate product assortments, considering seasonality, trends, and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with supply chain teams. Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing plan across channels (paid search, social media, email, etc.) to drive traffic, conversion and basket size with clear ROI measurement related with GMV achievement. Leverage data-driven insights to refine targeting, messaging, and customer acquisition. Collaborate with the marketing team to align content and promotions. Craft sophisticated customer journeys, from awareness to post-purchase engagement. Oversee the ecommerce website, ensuring seamless functionality, user experience, and performance. Optimize product listings, navigation, and search functionality. Enhance merchandising visuals, product imagery, and storytelling. Leverage in-house livestreaming and interactive content to engage customers. Lead and coach/develop the E-commerce team to deliver our growth ambitions. Build a high-performance team through driving innovation, operation excellence. Continuously elevate the team’s capability to embrace in the fast change of E-commerce industry.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or higher. Over 10 years of solid experience in ecommerce leadership roles. Proficiency in English. Strong data analysis and planning abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and innovation skills. Experience of operating key platform including Alibaba, JD.com, Douyin etc. Well capability to manage TP and distributor to deliver the business target. Knowledge of digital marketing and CRM.
