Head of Enterprise Corporate Services & Governance
**Description** **Position Overview:** First Horizon Bank is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee governance, change management, and strategic programs within the Enterprise Corporate Services Department, part of the Real Estate and Procurement Division. Reporting to the SVP of Corporate Real Estate and Procurement, this role will drive key initiatives that improve operational efficiency, demonstrate strong governance and risk management practices, and support the optimization of real estate assets and procurement strategies. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of real estate operations and procurement management in a regulated environment, with experience implementing governance frameworks, managing large-scale programs, and promoting cost control and accountability. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** **Governance and Compliance** + Develop and implement governance frameworks to ensure the integrity of processes, controls, and risk management across real estate and procurement operations. + Maintain a comprehensive internal control record, supported by process documentation, regular testing, and continuous monitoring of the inventoried controls. + Lead policy compliance efforts by developing monitoring programs, executive dashboard reporting, and client training to ensure business units adhere to corporate standards. + Oversee third-party spend analytics, real estate portfolio performance reporting, and other corporate expense monitoring to promote cost transparency, accountability, and optimization. + Establish and monitor performance metrics that measure compliance and service delivery across real estate and procurement, ensuring high standards are consistently met. **Strategic Planning & Change Management** + Manage the annual planning process, including prioritizing large-scale enterprise programs, determining resource allocation, and developing client communication and program oversight plans to ensure performance targets and business benefits are achieved. + Lead real estate strategy and execution, focusing on portfolio planning to optimize office and retail properties. Manage all related transactions, including leasing, buying, selling, and subleasing, in coordination with facilities and project management teams. + Oversee procurement transformation initiatives with a focus on: + Regulatory compliance for third-party risk management and alignment with large financial institution requirements. + Centralized spend programs that deliver cost savings, increase efficiency, and establish new corporate services. + Comprehensive integration and communication strategies to engage internal stakeholders and enterprise clients. **Operational Leadership** + Build and sustain a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement across the Enterprise Corporate Services Department. + Manage department budgets, vendor relationships, and service delivery to ensure alignment with business objectives and high-quality outcomes. + Provide operational insights and data-driven reporting to senior leadership, including Bank Executive Management, to support strategic decision-making. + Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, promoting professional growth and fostering a collaborative, results-oriented work environment. **QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. + 15+ years of progressive experience in real estate, procurement, program management, or operations, with a focus on governance and compliance in regulated environments. + Proven expertise in real estate transactions, third-party risk management, and outsourcing strategies for non-core services. + Strong operational acumen with a track record of implementing process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and risk mitigation strategies. + Experience managing complex budgets, large teams, and enterprise-wide programs, preferably in financial services. + Proficiency in procurement systems, payment processes, and real estate portfolio management. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. + Willingness to travel up to 50%. **About Us** **First Horizon Corp.
