About this opportunity:
The Head of Executive and Leadership Development will lead the creation and implementation of an innovative Leadership Development framework and relevant solutions. This role is pivotal in driving the leadership behaviors Ericsson needs to succeed in the next phase of our transformation journey. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of leadership practice at all levels, how to shape mindsets and behavior as well as build strategic business acumen. This person will be highly consultative and data-driven using their experience to drive our leadership development practice to the next level.
What you will do:
Leadership Development FrameworkDevelop and evolve our leadership expectations and approach from first line to senior executives, reflecting Ericsson’s culture and ambitions. Focused on simplicity and relevancy, this framework will support leaders in developing the skills and behaviors needed to drive performance, transformation, and sustainability.End-to-End Leadership DevelopmentDevelop a focused yet comprehensive portfolio of development to include development programs, coaching, assessments, and experiences that support leadership transitions and build our succession pipeline for the future. Successor DevelopmentWork closely with our succession planning team to advise on, define and design interventions that help our future leaders and executives get prepared for our most critical roles in the company.Coaching and DevelopmentOwn our coaching approach and provision and ensure it aligns with our end-to-end leadership development strategy.Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with our Executive team, Strategists and People Leaders team to ensure Executive and Leadership Development responds to current and future business needs. Impact evaluationCollaborate with our People Analytics team to understand the impact of leadership development at Ericsson and the opportunities to improve across our global, matrixed company.Leadership SkillsOwn the Leadership skills cluster – govern leadership skills in the taxonomy, act as advisor to job role owners, ensure the leadership skills are embedded in to hiring, performance evaluations and succession decisions.The skills you bring:
Strong track record in developing executives and leaders at all levelsExperience working in a complex, matrixed, global organizationsAbility to consult and influence across multiple stakeholdersProvides thought leadership on executive and leadership focus and development approachesStrong facilitation and coaching skills and credible in-front of senior executivesInterest in and of understanding of the business, the strategy and the major change initiatives.Application
