J.P. Morgan Private Client is more than a financial partnership—it’s a relationship bringing the breadth of J.P. Morgan’s expertise and extensive banking and wealth management offerings.  J.P. Morgan Private Client delivers the breadth of J.P. Morgan expertise and products through a dedicated Relationship Manager.  The dedicated Relationship Manager delivers highly personalized service to clients across banking, lending, and investing.  Our team is growing amid the launch of a new consumer banking model that is focused on affluent consumers and creates a continuum between Chase Private Client and J.P. Morgan Private Bank. As a member of this new team you will be a part of establishing a new banking model for J.P. Morgan Chase.

As the Head of Field Advisory & Practice Management, Executive Director within J.P. Morgan Private Client, you will lead a center of excellence for Relationship Managers. Your responsibilities will include creating and implementing talent acquisition strategies, conducting client advisory and sales training, and managing the onboarding process for new Relationship Managers. Additionally, you will be in charge of developing a home-grown Relationship Manager program. You will also supervise the training strategy and programming for Regional Relationship Managers and Client Experience Specialists.

Job responsibilities

Provide insight and execute strategies to attract and retain top client management talent to serve the affluent market at scale Work closely with Field Leaders and Relationship Managers to design and deploy effective training and development strategies resulting in exceptional client outcomes and consistent business growth Create programmatic strategies and infrastructure to execute Relationship Manager recruiting, development, and retention that Field Leaders can deploy in their respective regions and markets Help train-the-trainers (Regional Relationship Managers) to deliver coaching and programming at scale Develop high impact programing resulting in exceptional relationship managers able to build successful businesses through client acquisition and deepening existing client relationships Create and oversee a thorough end-to-end Relationship Manager onboarding program that includes knowledge and skill development, practice management, and all controls-related processes and requirements (e.g., licensing)

 Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities

At least 10 years financial services experience with a strong consultative background  Deep knowledge of affluent market and key drivers of client management success Able to design and operationalize business strategies that can be tracked, measured and that adhere to all applicable controls Exceptional communication skills, effective in presenting recommendations to senior management and capable of influencing multiple stakeholders Proactive; takes initiative to identify solutions; executes with a sense of urgency Excellent relationship management skills and ability to navigate a large, complex organization Intellectually curious, client first mindset, team-oriented, and high energy level with passion for driving quantifiable business results Team leadership and proven ability to attract, develop and retain top talent Experience anticipating and proactively addressing senior management concerns
