Myanmar market is part of APAC cluster and one of the market with high growth potential in the future. We are the biggest FMCG business in Myanmar, operating in 4 sites (Main office and 3 sourcing units).
The Finance lead role is the custodian of not only to create values but also to manage the assets of value at risk in the Business and reports to the General Manager. The role is a key member of the leadership team.
On top of the business responsibilities, this role will also take responsibility as Secretary to Joint Venture Steering Committee of Myanmar Business.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of the region’s FMCG landscape, develop a strong commercial acumen, good knowledge of supply chain and have organizational awareness to connect, collaborate and leverage resources across geographies and learning on how to strategize to operate in high risk market. The role is expected to incorporate agile in the way of business working and lead simplification and improve inclusivity.

Pro-actively manage, control, and steer the entire Profit & Loss (actuals and forecast).Responsible for in year performance management across the four core categories of the business, identifying value opportunities that require intervention in close co-operation with Country General Manager.Develop corrective actions to close gaps to targets including driving decision making around resource allocation and budget setting.Drive and manage the investment strategy as well as Return on Investments.Delivery and monitor of pricing initiatives including support in customer negotiations.Drive the Integrated Business Planning Process.Lead team and responsible to connect flawless across the boarders into the Nordic finance team and the finance excellence business partner hub based in Stockholm.Ensure that business controls are in place and working effectively.Your profile would feature:
We're looking for a person with strong business acumen and financial understanding as well as good interpersonal and influencing skills. We're looking for someone who has the ability to influence and question the status quo
and who manages to deliver under tight deadlines and to hold people accountable. Experience in presenting to and communicating with senior Finance as well as non-Finance stakeholders and presenting to larger groups is a skill we value, too.
We also expect you to have:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Corporate Finance, Business Administration or equivalent10-15 years of Finance experience, with managerial role.Preferably experience in Business Partnering, Performance Management or Controlling.Experience from the FMCG industry or similar is considered as an advantage.
