Role Summary:
The Global Head of Finance Technology will be responsible for the strategic oversight and optimization of the overall Finance technology ecosystem at JLL. This individual will work closely with finance, JLLT technology, and business leaders to develop a technology strategy and multi-year roadmap for that aligns with our critical Finance objectives. Key responsibilities will include the following:
In partnership with JLLT, drive the overall effectiveness of the Finance technology ecosystemDevelop a multi-year technology strategy for Corporate Finance aligned with the organization’s long-term objectives and key strategic initiativesCoordinate the development of the annual technology investment roadmap in alignment with the multi-year strategyLiaise between Finance and JLLT stakeholders to ensure appropriate collaboration, communication, and prioritization of initiativesConduct an annual Finance technology ecosystem assessment and deliver findings to the Finance Leadership Team (FLT)Regularly evaluate the performance of existing technologies to identify gaps, synergies and opportunities to scale or retire technologiesCapture end-user pain points and potential customization needs for finance technologyEnsure that all the systems meet the organization's needs for data accuracy, efficiency and scalabilityChair the Finance Technology Committee (with FLT sponsorship) and drive technology related recommendations for FLT considerationIn partnership with JLLT, maintain an active database of Finance applications by business line and region and ensure there is a JLLT technology and Finance business owner for eachServe as the subject matter expert for emerging Finance technologies, use cases, and capabilitiesBuild and maintain an understanding of the external vendor landscape (both established and emerging) including capabilities, strengths and weaknesses, and strategic alignment with JLL’s multi-year Finance priorities; make recommendations regarding key partners accordinglyIn partnership with JLLT, own Finance’s AI project portfolio including the identification, assessment, prioritization, and implementation of initiativesOversee the solutioning and execution of select technology-related implementationsAct as point person for JLLT partnersAdvocate for Finance technology investments within JLLT's prescribed architecture using business cases that include cost and savings estimates, qualitative benefits, and ROIPartner with JLLT cybersecurity SMEs to ensure adoption of best practice security measures, perform regular assessments, and develop remediation plans for any identified shortcomingsWork closely with the Finance Global Process Team to identify areas where our core financial processes can utilize more effective technology solutionsChair the AI sub-committee charged with evaluating continuous improvement opportunities submitted by Finance team membersManage the development and maintenance of a holistic Corporate Finance technology budgetManage and improve the technology idea in-take, ROI evaluation, and backlog maintenance processesEstablish regular stakeholder reporting cadence across each initiative inclusive of progress, risks, issues, blockers, and requests of leadershipProvide guidance and SDLC best practices / frameworks for project teams to leverage for implementationsRequired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred10+ years of experience in finance or technology-related rolesRelevant certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Project Management Professional (PMP), are preferredStrong understanding of financial systems, ERP platforms, and emerging technologies in the finance sectorExperience in leading large-scale technology implementations and digital transformation initiativesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organizationStrong project management and problem-solving abilitiesExperience with change management and driving technology adoption across large organizationsIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet all the requirements. Estimated total compensation for this position:
240,500.00 – 269,750.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
