Head of Fund Order Services (APAC), Vice President

This role is responsible for our Fund Order Services operations across the Asia-Pacific region. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a growing global team. The incumbent will manage teams based in Asia-Pacific locations and as the regional head, will be a key driver of our strategy for expanding our operations to support a unified global business model.

What you will be responsible for

As Head of Fund Order Services APAC you will

Oversee mutual fund trading services for clients in a fast paced environment across a variety of complex portfolio types, including target dates, multi-manager, and fund-of-funds

Critically assess current and future state operations, make recommendations for improvements in future state model and drive change.

Analyze and document business requirements in coordination with management team, clients, IT, and systems vendor

Maintain effective internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, acting as an escalation point for key stakeholders

Ensure all team deliverables are met within assigned deadlines on a daily basis, document and update procedures and team checklists, ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and controls.

Manage, train and develop staff, manage employee performance, complete performance reviews timely, and handle employee relations issues

Provide coaching and development opportunities to staff, participate in individual on-going training and development

Make effective recommendations to hire, discipline, control work and terminate employment

Make effective recommendations for promotions, salary increases and bonuses

Other projects or tasks as assigned

What we value

Experience within the mutual fund trading industry is preferred

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

10+ years’ experience
