Join Group People and Culture as Head of the German Desk and work in a dynamic Group HR function.
Group People and Culture is responsible for the development and implementation of HR initiatives worldwide. The German Desk works closely with the six Operating Entities (OEs) of Allianz in Germany (Allianz D Group) and the Allianz SE. As part of Group People and Culture, the German Desk is a center of expertise for the development, introduction and implementation of HR concepts and products. This covers a wide range of strategic and operational HR topics, e.g. talent management and leadership development, remuneration and benefits, strategic workforce planning, employer branding, vocational training as well as issues relating to corporate bodies and labor law.
We work on suitable concepts for and in close cooperation with our clients - the companies of the AZ D Group and AZ SE. They employ a total of around 26,000 people. The German Desk provides governance for HR products, HR innovations and trends.
How can you make an impact?
You will:
Manage a unit of currently 70 specialists in the above-mentioned areas divided in to four departments Develop a joint HR strategy for and in cooperation with the companies supported and in alignment with the Group strategy Be responsible for development and introduction of modern, standardized HR products and processes for the companies and the further development of the HR organization Be in intensive and constructive cooperation with employee representatives (Group Works Council and Group Speakers' Committee) promote a positive corporate culture and further development of an attractive working environment
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualification:
Professional experience managing and developing a larger team Very strong communication and negotiation skills, including communication experience with senior stakeholders Strong diplomatic skills and at the same time assertiveness Great powers of persuasion and a desire to develop comprehensive, joint solutions Preferably working experience in at least one of the German Allianz entities Strong conceptual skills, joy of familiarizing with new topics, developing suggestions for optimization and implementing them Structured way of working, strong analytical skills and strategic way of thinking
Preferred Qualifications:
University degree in economics, human resources, law or a related field Professional experience at ASE level or passed ASE DC Fluency in written and spoken German and English Previous experience in business related functions (i.e. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plusDo we have what you need?
