As a result, we attract and retain some of the brightest and most talented professionals in the industry. **The Opportunity** The Global Head of Business Growth and Systems is responsible for centralised services that drive business growth, focused on business development, sales, and client account management. This role works closely with the Global Priority Pursuits Leader, members of the Business and Markets Executive, and fellow MCBD leadership team to guide the development and implementation of market and client strategies designed to integrate the priorities of our integrated business plan (IBP), with our priority pursuit and client programs. This includes responsibility for the development and deployment of sales systems and business processes to ensure high-quality, firm-wide pipeline data and reporting to enable forecasting, scenario planning and informed business decisions. + Leads the Business Growth and Systems team, setting its vision and work programme.  + Leads development and delivery of global sales programs including priority pursuits, the client programme, and client data and systems, enabling the growth of Arup’s business at scale and extending market penetration.​ + Collaborates closely with the Chief Officer for Business and Markets, the Business and Markets Executive, Region, Commercial and Finance leadership, championing a business partner mindset for the team. + Ensures the team is high-performing and aligned with Arup's goals. **Client Programme** + Oversees the development and delivery of the global client programme, evolving its governance and use of tools to grow the firm-wide impact of managed clients. + Ensures ongoing review and assessment of the client programme to inform client selection and segmentation in a consistent way worldwide, enabling a client centered approach to business. + Advises on the development ofbusiness requirements to guidebest practice tools, resources, and training for client-facing teams to enhance their ability to engage with clients confidently and effectively, including defining capability and professional development requirements to enhance Arup’s client relationship management **Priority Pursuits** + Oversees the development and delivery of the global priority pursuits programme, advising on the governance and tools to grow firm-wide impact and oversees the team supporting global priority pursuits. + Advisor to the Head of Global Priority Pursuits, with responsibilities spanning the proposal process, including writing, editing, and reviewing proposals to ensure high-quality and competitive submissions.​ + Responsible for monitoring and reporting programmes that support priority pursuits, with a focus on identifying trends and barriers leading to improved market penetration, expanding the firm’s capture capability of high-profile projects. **Clients Systems** + Oversees the development and delivery of firm-wide client systems including CRM, Bid Sites, MCBD SharePoint sites and data environments required for bidding, clients and business growth,with a focus on user experience, efficiency and effectiveness. + Sets the requirements for design, development, and implementation of systems improvements, and ensures strong governance, data quality and custodianship of sales and sales enablement tools. + Leads the application, scalability and deployment ofAI and data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of client management and work winning processes. + Oversees the contractual relationship and contracts with external vendors and service providers.​ **Reporting & Analytics** + Responsible for development of sales reporting and analytics, setting the visionand championing the use of data in making key business decisions. + Advises on performance / analytics solutions to drive overall business growthbringing adata-driven approaches for generating business insights through data analytics and information visualization. + Oversees the development and deployment of firm-wide training programs that improve theunderstanding, value and use of CRM data across the business in decision making, client management and work winning activities. **Is this role right for you?** Qualifications; + Degree and/or executive education in business management, sales,marketingand/or postgraduate professional qualification in marketing would be preferred.  Knowledge and experience:  + Significant experience and proven successin sales management,leading sales,biddingand/orclient teams. + Internationalexperiencein planning,executingand winning strategic pursuits relating to large complex projects.  + Knowledge of current trends and developments in sales, clients, pursuits particularly within the AEC industry.  + Grasp ofcurrent procurement processes, practices and norms within the AEC industryspanninga wide range of geographies (North America, Asia Pacific,Europeand UK). + Experience ofmanagingaccount-basedclient programmes. + Provenexperience ofcollaborating effectivelywith senior leaderswithinlarge and complex client organisations.  + Membership of a relevant professional body is encouraged. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of these locations will differ.
