Reporting to the Head of Global Rewards, the Head of Global Compensation will develop and maintain forward-thinking global compensation programs, designed to support the organization’s business and talent strategy by attracting the best talent; supporting a competitive market position; and driving performance and engagement. This individual will oversee all global compensation programs, including base pay, cash incentives, and reward and recognition programs, as well as the annual performance and rewards process cycle.

Your key responsibilities:

Provides strategic and operational leadership in the design, implementation, and communication of all broad-based compensation programs, including job hierarchy, base salary, and variable compensation programs.Lead the compensation team, in partnership with Region Rewards teams, in benchmarking, competitive analysis, and design, and management of all global broad-based pay structures and short-term incentive targets, as well as reward and recognition programsPartner with the Head of Executive Compensation to understand and communicate the organization’s short-term and long-term incentive programsDesign, develop and manage the organization’s global pay equity and pay transparency approach and processesProvide oversight and guidance to the design and management of business-administered sales compensation programs.Lead all aspects of the annual compensation process, including the annual budgeting process with Finance and management of salary increase, short-term incentive and long-term incentive recommendations and payouts/grants, including a local variable compensation program for manufacturing plants in the U.S. Support the organization’s compensation needs and consult with HR and business leaders for all Americas locations, including small populations in Canada and LATAM.Design, develop and implement an effective communication plan for all compensation programs; create presentations for senior leadership on relevant compensation topicsWork collaboratively with HR colleagues, Legal, and Finance on all compensation related matters as appropriateSupport the organization’s merger & acquisition needs on compensation-related matters

Your qualification profile:
 

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or other related disciplineRequires 8+ years of applicable industry experienceDemonstrated experience and relevant expertise in the design and implementation of effective compensation programsExpertise in global compensation programsProven experience in overseeing a global compensation team Workday experience preferredAnalytical, flair for change management, trustworthy, high level of integrity and ethical standardsAbility to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with senior leadership, HR partners, managers and employeesDemonstrated ability to establish and manage a complex network of key stakeholdersAbility to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively with colleagues from other functionsAbility to work independently in a dynamic and changing environment.
