YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

At Bayer, we are dedicated to advancing healthcare through innovative solutions. We are seeking a visionary leader to join our Global Medical & Evidence (GM&E) team in Cardiology, where you will shape world-class strategies that maximize patient value and drive commercial success.

As the Head of GM&E in Cardiology, you will lead a dynamic team of medical affairs professionals and scientists, developing and implementing innovative medical and evidence strategies. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance patient outcomes and support the lifecycle management of our Cardiology product portfolio.

As a leader, you will build, develop and strengthen the team’s capability to provide contemporary and innovative strategic and content expertise to the Product Teams.

 

Key tasks:

 

Lead and develop the GM&E Cardiology sub-cluster, fostering a high-performing team.Provide strategic vision and direction for integrated evidence generation and medical affairs.Collaborate across GM&E subclusters to ensure efficiency and best practices.Continue to lead Bayer’s transformation in evidence generation towards an integrated approach throughout the clinical development and the product life cycle in Cardiology.Champion innovative solutions and advanced analytics to enhance decision-making.Manage relationships with healthcare professionals, regulators, and external stakeholders.Apply VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) leadership behaviours: Demonstrate high self-awareness as well as system awareness

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

MD with a minimum of 10 years in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and/or Evidence Generation.Expertise in Cardiology with a thorough understanding of the drug development process.Strong strategic and learning agility, with excellent stakeholder management skills.Proven ability to build and maintain high-performing, inclusive teams across cultures.Demonstrates, credibly embodies and showcases VACC leadership, with creative mindset, enabling Bayer transformationExperience of managing teams across cultures and geographies Proven effective communication skills to communicate business strategies and capabilities internally and externally
