Head of Google Cloud
Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or enterprise software sales, or account management at a B2B software company. + Experience in leadership roles, including people management, team lead responsibilities, mentorship, or coaching. Preferred qualifications: + Experience managing and leading a team. + Experience working with, and managing, cross-functional internal teams (e.g. Business Development, Customer Engineers, Partner Sales) and external partners in implementation projects and negotiations. + Ability to manage business and commercial models while leading organizational transformations and delivering on results. As Country Sales Lead, you will be responsible for the market success and adoption of our cloud solutions, and manage a team focused on business acquisition across all industries in New Zealand. You will be the official representative of Google Cloud and will drive how media, business, government and consumers in the country view Google Cloud. You will also be the representative for Google Cloud internally, working cross-functionally to ensure alignment and an integrated go-to-market. You will focus on strategy and execution of the organization’s business plan, quota for achieving goals within the market, and business growth and customer acquisition for Google Cloud. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems. + Develop and execute the overall in-country Cloud strategy, delivering significant business and organizational growth for Google Cloud New Zealand. + Foster a performance culture, with direct management of New Zealand-based Cloud Sales Leadership, leading team through change and leveraging resources cross-functionally by building a shared goals. + Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of Google Cloud products and services in the region. Ensure new product launches are successfully communicated to your local market, building annual/quarterly/monthly plans for business growth and associated playbooks and tools. + Promote Google Cloud products, increasing growth in accounts and developing strategies for winning in an engaged environment. Understand customer requirements on both a business and technical level, providing tailored solutions and presentations on Google Cloud products to customers.
