Head of Health Solutions, Malaysia We're hiring! We are looking for a Head of Health Solutions to lead our business in Malaysia! The Head of Health Solutions plays a pivotal role in our Health & Benefits practice, overseeing all client-related activities to ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience. The role is responsible for nurturing and expanding client relationships, overseeing client service operations, and driving client-centric strategies that align with the company's goals. This executive position demands a strategic problem solver with a robust understanding of client needs, market trends, and business sense. The role also has a key role in Aon’s pivotal initiatives in the Client/Up-sell/Cross-sell/Retention areas by developing and implementing improvements for both clients and colleagues in Aon’s servicing models and continually improving our teams’ risk and product capability and bringing the best of Aon. The role To lead the Health Solutions team in country in its overall operations including Broking (Placement) and Account Management Work with the reporting managers and business divisions to identify and develop business opportunities that generate long-term client relationships and profitable revenue growth from the full range of new and existing products and services. Team work and collaboration with Regional and Global colleagues to train and up skill your team and to generate new and expanded business. Drive the strategy and business plan to meet or exceed the set target. Using and managing Aon Connect for ensuring that new business plans are incorporated for your business unit, the renewal business target are monitored and managed accordingly. Key Responsibilities Manage direct reports as required, ensuring that their objectives are aligned with the overall country strategy, that their performance is satisfactory and that they are taking the necessary action continually to develop their capability as business leaders Oversees the full range of functions, i.e. client relationship management, sales and marketing, finance, human resources, administration and operations of HS, noting that some functions reside in other units. Drives annual budget and prudently handles business’s resources within the budget guidelines. Delivers results consistent with the business’s growth and profitability norms. Contribute to and participate in Aon Malaysia senior executive group, committees, ad hoc project teams and other bodies as necessary. Key leadership role in the design and delivery of client and revenue growth plans for Health & Benefits team. Work with regional Health Solutions to create geographic growth plans and align these with strategies in Malaysia. Build and nurture client relationships while encouraging new business connections. Work with BU Leaders to create sustainable divisional growth plans, LMP, management of Aon Connect. Formal review and sign-off and approval of all major bids and tenders across local teams. Develop and co-lead to win new large accounts. Drive business development standard process, including industry research and (LMP) local market planning. Drive improvement by providing thought leaderships on client and commercial issues as well as developing talent and capability within the Health Solutions business. Run & supervise the team on daily client servicing and operations. Establish processes and measures for monitoring and maintaining standards consistent with Aon’s Code of Business Conduct. Implement and operationalize World Class Broking including TBS Implement and operationalize relevant SPSs Implement ACIA solutions, e.g. Aon Pulse, carrier analytics and other innovative support initiatives Align HS Malaysia with country and regional sales initiatives Skills Motivational leader and communicator, able to inspire individuals and teams to focus and own solutions designed around client excellence. Engaged and sharing expertise and willing to train and educate team leaders. Business knowledge and foresight based on extensive insurance broking industry experience. Understanding of Health solutions client network with strong commercial approach Energetic and positive, trusted and respected, credible with internal and external collaborators. Enthusiastic teammate with strong relationship and empathy building skills. Upholds and demonstrates leadership values. Excellent networking and relationship building skills. At all times act as a role model of Aon. Team management skills. Working Conditions This role will work very closely with the local Executive Team (Team Leaders, Heads of Department) and report into the CEO.
