Job Description
**_Lead HR excellence in our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and drive our organizational success through strategic initiatives._**
As our Head of HR M&A you will lead and oversee seamless HR execution of mergers and acquisitions activities. In this pivotal role, you become responsible for due diligence, HR integration planning, playbook development, training, performance tracking, and change management. Your expertise will ensure alignment with best practices and contribute to our continued growth and success. This position does not entail direct management reports.
**What is the job about?**
You become our key expert on HR M&A and act as a trusted advisor to HR Centres of Expertise and Business HR. You ensure timely completion of HR-related tasks within M&A projects, the successful integration of HR processes and policies post-acquisition, the implementation of training and development initiatives that enhance HR capabilities within the M&A sphere, effective project- and change management, and the adoption of HR practices throughout the M&A processes.
Your primary responsibilities include:
+ Driving the HR Due Diligence phase and act as the one point of contact for the Group M&A team and other work streams.
+ Lead the HR workstream in partnership with Business HR to plan HR integration post-acquisition.
+ Support Business HR in deploying the PMI HR plan during the first 100 days.
+ Collecting, analysing and monitoring performance of HR data and HR related M&A projects, identifying key success indicators and assist in formulating recommendations in the area.
+ Collaborate with Grundfos divisions and HR process owners and stakeholders to create and maintain a comprehensive M&A playbook.
+ Develop and implement training programs and capability building activities for HR employees.
Furthermore, you will be an active member in the HR M&A Steering Committee.
**Your background:**
The ideal candidate has proven expertise within the M&A sphere, Legal employment knowledge within various jurisdictions and has led HR integrations. Furthermore, a solid experience with change management, with ability to think strategically and solve problems creatively. Effective communication skills will come in handy, as you convey project goals, expectations, and updates to stakeholders at all levels, both in writing and verbally.
We imagine that you have:
+ Preferably a master’s in human resources, Business Administration, or another related field.
+ A strong understanding of human resources principles, practices, and regulations.
+ 5+ years of experience from e.g. an HRBP role, with a proven experience in complex project management with multiple stakeholders, preferably within HR and M&A context.
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
+ Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Proficiency in project management tools and HRIS systems.
Building and maintaining positive relationships with various stakeholders, including HR leaders, department managers, and external partners, is critical to become a success in this position. Additionally, adaptability is essential, as you will need to adjust to changing priorities, requirements, and circumstances in a dynamic work environment.
