Mission of Function Responsible for leading, coordinating and planning overall delivery activities in Main Line, Mass Transit and F&P assigned to the region (international projects).
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitors project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue, cost, quality and time projections.• Coordinates and/or leads different local teams in an international cooperative environment.• Directs and conceptualizes project management design approach (definition of schedule, budget, risk, change, resources, etc.) within strategic business direction.• Works and supports the ML & MT Centers of Competence (CoC) hosted in the region.• Fulfills Siemens processes and guidelines (PM@Siemens).• Assumes BU role in business model with regions.
People Management and Leadership:
• Responsible for a flexible pool of resources (40 pax) , adapted to the contracts assigned. Selecting, managing, developing and coaching group leaders and team members. • Manages people who lead projects supporting the company-customer relationship, ensuring customer satisfaction. • Supervise multiple employees, typically several levels of managers, across one or more major functional areas, groups and/or operations. Maintains performance management responsibilities for employees under purview and directs hiring, firing, and promotion decisions. • Responsible to deliver contracts (full responsibility). o Lead execution of contracts at international level. • Negotiate with customers and partners terms and conditions, when required. • Work and support for CoCs ML and MT, including Westrace I/L, ERTMS FUTUR, CBTC Sirius and Rail 9000 CC. • Directs the activities coordination and collaboration in an international environment for engineering. • Responsible to deliver on time, under quality standards, and on budget the works for the assigned contracts in Main Line, Mass Transit and F&P (full responsibility). • Reviews and approves purchases from a specified amount, may negotiate major contracts involving large amounts. • Monitors the cost schedule and performance aspects of major subcontracts. • BU role with Siemens Regional Unit. • Customer interface and primary relation for the contracts assigned (full responsibility). • Design corrective actions to resolve the most complex customer complaints and problems. • Apply standard process and tools for operational activities, continuous improvement (full responsibility). • Ensures monthly reporting cycles are achieved to right standards and coordinates with other areas to assemble appropriate information and analysis. 
What You'll Need for This Role:
As the Head of International Project Execution (Mobility), you'll bring a unique blend of technical expertise, global leadership, and a customer-centric mindset. Specifically, we're looking for:
Proven Track Record in Project Delivery:• Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience delivering complex railway signaling projects across international markets• Demonstrated success in managing budgets, resource planning, and coordinating with customers
Collaborative Leadership Skills:• 15+ years of experience leading and developing diverse, cross-functional teams in local and global settings• Ability to foster a cooperative, high-performing work environment across multiple locations and cultures
Technical Mastery:• Deep understanding of railway signaling systems, including Interlocking, ERTMS, CBTC, and Control Centers• Technical university degree, with a Master's in Business Administration or equivalent business acumen
Global Mindset:• Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages considered a valuable asset• Track record of engaging customers and partners across various countries and regions
