Job Purpose Role

The Head of IT Delivery  is responsible for the successful delivery of IT services and projects within Allianz Direct BMP Retail area. This role ensures that all IT initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and budget while adhering to quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the IT delivery function, including project managers, developers, and other IT professionals in multiple locations. Implement existing IT delivery processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure successful project execution. Identify and promote improvement actions either in the solution or in the way of working or workspace of the assigned teams. Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise. Actively management of the dependencies within other areas either on IT or business level to ensure delivery milestone accomplishment. Ensure compliance with IT governance and risk management policies.

Strategic Planning: Ability to develop, implement and communicate strategies to address important trends or changes in the business

Communication & Presentation: Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally.  Ability to "sell" an improvised or prepared audience winning story

Change Management: ability to transition individuals, teams, and the whole organization from a current state to a desired future state.

Organizational Design and Development: Ability to design and drive transformation of organizations including corresponding structures and business processes

 

Education & Experience

University master degree

5+ years in IT project management or service delivery

Language: English & German
