Head of Labour Law (m/f/d)

We're looking for a motivated and ambitious Head of Labour Law (m/f/d) to help develop our team, support our company’s next phase of growth, and directly impact our success.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green Global Leadership: You will be responsible for all labour law matters worldwide, leading the Labour Law division with an international scope, supported by your direct report. Strategic Legal Advisory: You will provide high-level as well as operational / tactical legal counsel to our C-level executives and senior management on both individual and collective labour law topics across multiple jurisdictions. Pragmatic & Business-Oriented Solutions: You will develop tailored and practical legal solutions to support Flix’s growth, expansion and profitability, ensuring compliance while enabling agility in a dynamic business environment. Company-Wide Legal Frameworks: You will design and implement sustainable labour law strategies, including frameworks for compensation structures, employee participation programs, and other company-wide policies. Contract Negotiations & Review: You will independently lead contract negotiations, reviews, and policy development, ensuring legal soundness while balancing business needs. Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will be the go-to expert for all labour law-related matters, proactively advising various departments and confidently guiding internal stakeholders as well as our local HR Business Partners through complex legal landscapes. Alignment with Legal & Compliance: You will work closely with our Legal & Compliance team to develop aligned and strategic approaches to labour law challenges across our global operations. Your Profile – Ready to hop on board Fully qualified lawyer (m/f/d) with two successfully completed state examinations. At least 8 years of relevant labour law experience in a fast-paced corporate environment or a law firm advising clients in growth industries. Proven experience in a global context, with strong familiarity in German labour law policies, employee participation programs, and their tax implications. Strategic leadership skills, including the ability to guide and manage external local law firms when needed to ensure compliance across different jurisdictions. A strong business mindset, with the ability to translate legal complexities into pragmatic, actionable solutions that support the company’s growth and operational goals. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of explaining complex legal topics in a clear, concise, and business-oriented manner. Fluency in German and English is required; additional languages are a plus. Our Perks – More than just a job You have an impact.
