Job Description

Get to know the Role:

You will have overall responsibility of build out and ongoing management of GFSA’s (GrabFinancial Services Asia – Grab’s lending business) business in the Philippines. As a senior member of GFSA team your role will combine a number of aspects ranging across in-country strategy development, commercial opportunity and partnership development, marketing and sales of lending solutions, development of in-country GFSA team and ongoing management of GFSA Philippines business.

More specific responsibilities are detailed below:

Adapt, develop and detail GFSA’s regional strategy to Philippines market, competitive and regulatory contextLead end to end execution of all GFSA product and customer initiatives and programs in PhilippinesBe responsible for GFSA’s overall financial performance in PhilippinesLead local business development and partnership engagementsProvide strategic and operational updates and insights on local market performance to regional leadership and managementAct as the local lead regulatory liaison; establishing, developing and managing positive on going regulatory relationshipsBuild, develop and lead cross-functional team to run day to day operationsEffectively collaborate with the rest of the GFSA, GrabFinancial and Grab peers and functional leads in Philippines and other markets

Qualifications

The must haves:

More than 10 years of experience across consumer credit, broader Retail / SME financial services and other business leadership roles within financial servicesSignificant experience and senior professional network in financial services sectorStrong track record of delivery of tangible business results across previous rolesExperience in high performance team build out, development and managementBreadth of functional experience across – strategy development, strategic project management, cross-functional operational implementation of new initiatives and ongoing business management Intelligent, motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethicHigh levels of adaptability, comfortable with ambiguity and working in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex & Ambiguous) environmentSolid spoken and written communication skills
