This is a high-level visionary position to develop and drive the Sartorius Lab products & services (LPS) business growth in China. It requires continuation and execution of the existing successful business/organizational vision and a strategy. It also ensures an overall high level of quality of service across the corporate functions being delivered to customers and business partners. The Head of Sales and Services will be responsible for defining and overseeing the global sales strategy to achieve the divisional growth objectives. The holder of this position will drive sustainable growth in revenue and profitability and develop effective sales leadership in all sales channels. Main Responsibilities & Tasks: + Develop a clear vision and strategy for all sales and service activities + Oversee revenue forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly + Take ownership and accountability for all revenue targets and sales projections + Ensure the sales and service organization has the capability of exceeding revenue targets and projections + Attract, develop and retain talent within the organization + Oversee complex sales negotiations with very large, high profile customers + Represent the company in business development activities + Report to Head of Division Qualification & Skills: + Master Degree in relevant field, preferably with an MBA + Demonstrate outstanding leadership with a minimum of 10 years proven experience in a sales environment + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Expertise in selling strategies and methodologies, strategic planning and execution + Excellent communication and networking skills at all levels of the organization internally and externally + Strategic selling knowledge: corporate positioning, high level relationship management + Contracting knowledge: RFP monitoring, proposal preparation, contract award and execution + Very driven and results focused + Strong team player and relationship builder + Fluent in English About Sartorius Sartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
