Job DescriptionWe are looking for a committed and experienced manager for our maintenance department who can master challenging situations with technical know-how and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the maintenance team, monitor KPIs, and ensure the implementation of standard company tools and methodologiesImplement corrective and preventive maintenance processes to ensure equipment reliability and prevent recurring breakdownsDevelop and implement strategies to achieve the vision of zero breakdowns, identify system gaps, and coordinate pilot implementations of new technologiesPrepare and manage yearly maintenance budgets, ensuring accurate forecasts and adherence to financial plansOptimize spare part stock levels by regularly reviewing MRP settings and tracking warehouse performance to ensure efficiencyEnsure compliance with company and local safety regulations and enforce Plant Safety Rules for all maintenance activitiesManage relationships with external maintenance suppliers and develop local suppliers in collaboration with the purchasing departmentQualificationsAcademic degree in a technical/engineering subject or a comparable qualificationSeveral years of maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry, including both heavy and precision engineeringParticipation in machine improvement, refurbishment, upgrade, or installation projectsFirst management experience in a technical organizationVery good handling with MS Office softwareVery good German and English language skills (written and spoken)Regular international contacts through projects or suppliersGood communication and networking skillsApplications from severely disabled people are welcome.
