The Head of Marcom Security will lead and be responsible for fortifying security measures across all of Marcom. This role involves crafting comprehensive security policies, proactively managing risks, and effectively handling security escalations. This leadership role will safeguard our most innovative technologies by fostering strong cross-functional collaborations with various Apple teams, including New Product Security, InfoSec, Global Security, Software Engineering, Product Management, Internal Tools Governance, Production Security Design, AI Governance and IS&T to drive alignment and deploy consistent security strategies.
**Description**
The Head of Marcom Security will play a pivotal role in safeguarding Apple and Marcom’s intellectual property. This leadership role will oversee and manage all Marcom security operations, cultivating a culture of security awareness among employees, contractors, and suppliers. In this role you will demonstrate a deep technical expertise in security protocols, procedures, and emerging threats, enabling them to lead our team in protecting our innovation and maintaining our position as an industry leader. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Develop and Implement Security Policies: Write and implement comprehensive security and confidentiality policies. Incident Response: Respond to security incidents and escalations promptly. Risk Management: Proactively monitor, audit, and analyze risk to prevent IP exposure. Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Reporting: Prepare and present regular security reports. Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies. Information Protection: Ensure the utmost protection of sensitive and confidential information. Technology Security: Implement security guardrails in our tools and technologies. Employee Awareness Training: Create and deliver security training to employees, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring consistent messaging. Disclosures: Manage our disclosure policies, process and consistency. Alignment: Lead regular meeting with cross functional security teams such as NPS, InfoSec and Production Security Design.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 7+ years in leadership, preferably in security operations or a related field.
+ 10+ years security operations experience.
+ Experience with information security technologies and tools such as firewalls, VPNs, encryptions, access control systems, single Sign-On and cloud security and hardening tools., ideally in a large-enterprise or government environments.

+ A proven track record of handling incidents effectively and minimizing business impact.
+ Experience working within a creative environment such as an ad-agency, production studio, film studio, broadcast or similar.
+ Highly desirable. Certifications in Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or CompTIA Security+.
+ Highly desirable. Previous experience in a government secrecy or security role.

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $185,800 and $334,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
