Job Summary:
As a core member of the APJ (Asia Pacific and Japan) executive leadership team, the Head of Marketing will serve as the Marketing Function leader for Lab Solutions (LS) and be directly responsible for the APJ Marketing Organization.
S/he will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and leading all aspects of the marketing organization for the APJ business. The Head of Marketing will work in close partnership with commercial, global marketing team and the other functional leaders to develop and execute of strategic marketing and product portfolio plans across APJ.
S/he will provide overall guidance regarding the marketing strategy for the APJ. S/he will develop a comprehensive marketing strategy that builds brand awareness, improves brand reputation, fosters innovation, and leverages partnerships while increasing market share, customer satisfaction and retention.
This person is responsible for all aspects of portfolio strategy, product positioning lifecycle management, new product introductions and marketing plans, initiatives, objectives, and activities, including alignment with global LS strategy. 
This individual should have a passion for high performance team development and the ability to develop, implement and govern clear processes for marketing within APJ.
Key Responsibilities:Marketing Strategy & ExecutionOversee the strategy, development and execution of marketing, aimed at elevating the Siemens Healthineers’ brand, reputation, and market position.Create unique customer driven vision for the Brand Strategy and drive the effective translation of business strategy into the supporting marketing strategies and frameworks for all aspects of APJ business operations.Partner with key stakeholders to identify and execute growth strategies.Utilize relevant technology and innovation to drive customer acquisition, retention and loyalty. Develop and implement all elements of a customer engagement strategy. This includes developing an appropriate targeting strategy across a health system’s touch points and holistic communication plans to differentiate Siemens Healthineers Lab Solutions in APJ.Develop customer case studies, clinical/economic proof-points, customer reference sites, competitive selling training, etc. to improve salesforce effectiveness and customer win rates.Collaborate with service to improve customer experience.Marketing Talent and ProcessesLead the development of a world-class marketing organization – inclusive of building a high-performance team, marketing processes, and marketing outcomes.Drive alignment across all functions and initiatives to the new processes and ways of working.Effectively recruit, select, and train personnel and assign work in an agile, resource efficient and prioritized manner.Build marketing planning, execution and governance processes that span global to zone and country and across LS business lines.Develop marketing competency model and align expectations and talent development processes to support career growth.Customer and Market InsightsGain deep customer insights to serve as marketing expert on customer targets (laboratorians, hospital administration, reference labs, ministries of health, etc.) building keen insights and understanding to contribute to APJ business strategy.Outcomes / MeasurementTie together all consumer/patient touch points across the system to deliver a fundamentally better experience that differentiates Siemens Healthineers LS in the Diagnostics market.Define metrics and appropriate processes to track ROI for marketing initiatives in alignment with LS broader strategy.Monitor results closely, with a constant emphasis on continuous and transformative improvement.Maintain a lean organizational structure and emphasize, simultaneously, marketing, customer/patient satisfaction and profitability.Successfully manage all agency and partner relationships to ensure branding and marketing initiatives are cost effective and consistent with and supportive of Siemens Healthineers LS overall strategy.Global Product Portfolio StrategyFeedback to global marketing organization by recognizing regional needs.Collaborate and provide strategic direction with global stakeholders and commercial leaders to ensure effective and timely development of sales and marketing strategies for existing and future products.Provide clear, simple, and straightforward priorities and communication around launch strategy. Bring strategy, discipline and clear governance to new product launches.   APJ Pricing Strategy for new products and beyondAlign with global stakeholders and APJ leadership for the optimal pricing strategy across key customer segments.
Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree and above in engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial or marketing role, preferably within the laboratory, scientific equipment, or healthcare industry.Demonstrated success in leading regional marketing initiatives and managing teams.Familiarity with IVD industry standards and regulatory requirements is preferred.

Excellent collaboration to navigate a matrix organization and work effectively across regions and functions.
Working Conditions:Full-time, permanent role.Willingness to travel across Asia Pacific Japan to meet customers, support the country Marketing team, and oversee regional operations.
