Sephora SEA’s omni channel business spans over 8 countries (Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand) with 100+ stores and boasts some global flagships such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore, F88 in Kuala Lumpur and Pitt Street in Sydney. Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e., Click and collect and marketplace).  
 

The opportunity:
 

Head of Marketing, Thailand

 

We are looking for a highly motivated and strategic Head of Marketing to oversee the development, local marketing strategy to build, promote, and manage the Sephora brand across the Thailand market through close collaboration with the internal dynamic marketing team and various external stakeholders. 

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing. This role will report to the General Manager and functionally report to the Regional Vice President, Marketing.

Brand Awareness 

Increasing brand awareness of Sephora as well as strengthening our positioning as the most loved omni-channel beauty retailer in Thailand; coordinating with global and regional teams to align on Sephora branding strategy  Creating awareness for Sephora’s own brand: Sephora Collection, making this the No.1 recruitment brand in our portfolio 

 

Campaign and Communication

Planning and delivering campaigns across channels including onsite, email, social, influencer, paid advertising and offline initiatives Planning marketing communication strategy and effectively managing the monthly and yearly budget to ensure spending alignment per execution plan Synchronizing online and office communication strategy through close collaboration with digital marketing team

 

PR and Social Media 

Strategizing and executing PR initiatives to ensure that Sephora has the top media share of voice; collaborating with external PR agency, media, KOLs, celebrities, and business partners Planning and ensuring successful execution of Sephora owned in-store activities to engage customers and elevating in-store excitement

 

CRM and Loyalty 

Building CRM strategies across the organization with a view to retaining existing customers, increasing brand loyalty, and enhancing Sephora to be the most loved brand 

 

Stakeholder Engagement 

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including store teams, brand partners, and corporate partners both in country and region  Collaborating and communicating program goals, progress, and outcomes effectively 

 

Budget Management 

Developing and managing marketing budget  Ensuring that financial resources are allocated appropriately and that all plans are delivered within budget constraints 
 

Reports and Documentation

Preparing and presenting timely postmortem and monthly reports

 

We would love to hear from you if you are/have…

Minimum 9 years related experience in a similar role  Experience in digital marketing is a plus  Experience in leading teams and managing complexity Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, including presentation and facilitation skills  Strong organizational and project management skills to balance and prioritize high-level attention to detail and accuracy in the execution of work  Comfortable with financial aspects – ability to manage activities under the given budget  Fluent in both English and Thai  Excellent Microsoft Office skills
