Head of Marketing

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on marketing leader who will own and lead our communication strategy, positioning and messaging, ensuring we are delivering the right message to the right audience.


You will help us define how we go to market and how to create meaningful campaign strategies, sales enablement tools, product launches and how to create an outstanding product value proposition.


This is a perfect role for a consumer-focused strategic thinker that is not afraid to lead by example, raise the bar, write content pieces or drive communication excellence to the next level.


We value getting things done over rigid processes so you will work well with others, knowing when to get consensus and when to push for closure with decisiveness.


Responsibilities

Own and lead Ultraleap’s global marketing and communication strategy Develop and refine the products’ positioning and messaging in a compelling way that effectively communicates the unique value proposition Partner with Product and Business Development teams to drive a successful customer engagement strategy that ensures that Ultraleap’s brand, vision and identity is reinforced and awareness is increased Work with and manage an external agency, managing media strategy, messaging, PR and content pieces that drive engagement and value to the business Lead and provide the vision for a small marketing team that owns a wide range of marketing activities including: A global events calendar including speaking opportunities Overseeing all digital marketing activities including e-commerce and social media channels Securing effective editorial coverage in line with the product roadmap and corporate objectives Wider PR and content marketing activities, including whitepapers, blogs, contributed articles, videos, press releases etc Define and track key performance indicators for product and marketing, adjusting activities and delivering performance reports to senior leadership


Experience and Skill-set

Proven experience within a marketing leadership role, preferably within a consumer technology business Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and simply Know how to do more with less within a scale-up environment Proven ability to work effectively and influence others in a cross-functional, team environment Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products in competitive markets. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. MBA preferred Ability to exercise sound business judgment and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic scale-up environment
