JOB SUMMARY:

The Head of Marketing is a strategic leader which requires an outstanding communicator with strong marketing skills and experience, and an ability to build and motivate a growing marketing team in a fast moving and entrepreneurial working environment. He/She will not only be responsible for current Writing category but also cover future new brands including Outdoor, Home Fragrance and NUK as China strategic plan.

 

JOB DUTIES:

Develop the annual marketing plan – covering all products launches across all channels by working with regional and global marketing team. Deliver monthly reporting with team. Manage broad mix of marketing activities and campaigns across China and media channels. Ensure strong co-ordination with our sales team and other relevant departments to achieve commercial targets. Develop China marketing strategy based on brand vision and commercial sales target. Analyze consumer profiles and behaviors to inform our marketing strategy. Develop rolling annual roadmap incorporated in the 3-5 years marketing strategy to deliver on our company growth ambitions. Set long term marketing KPIs and deliver short term tactics.  Strengthen our China brand positioning and value. Ensure our brand messages to be strongly and consistently delivered across all channels. Lead new category and brand lunch plan in China. Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Monitor and enhance the brand's presence and reputation within the Chinese market. Innovate and implement new methods to engage customers and strengthen brand loyalty. Conduct in-depth market research to understand the evolving needs and preferences of Chinese customers. Analyze competitors and market trends to identify potential opportunities or threats. Utilize insights from research to inform marketing strategies and product development. Lead and coach/develop the marketing team to deliver our growth ambitions. Ensure a high standard of project management and delivery. Ensure marketing budget is delivering best ROI and within plan. Report monthly on actual spend vs budget and update rolling forecast by activity. Build our brand network, including international marketing agencies, collaboration partners and influential brand advocates (including press, policy makers, and high-profile customers). Develop strong partnerships with our retailer network.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or higher. Over 15 years of solid experience in Marketing leadership roles. Proficiency in English. Marketing strategy and brand development skills – including creativity, brand communication across all channels, customer insight development and planning. Knowledge and experience of product marketing and new product development in China. Market aware, commercially minded with a strategic approach to prioritization driven by strong analytical skills. Project management proficiency and ability to set high standards for your team to follow, with ability to manage several high-profile projects at once. Experience of managing CRM program.
