Job Description – Head of Nashik Operations for O AIS
POSITION: Title: Head of Nashik Facility for AIS Panels and Channel (IVAC/IPAN)Location: NashikReporting to: General Manager Operations-O AISDirect Team: Production - Panels, Production – IVAC/ IPAN, Panel Finishing & Closing, Packing & DispatchIndirect Team: Panel Testing & QC, IVAC/IPAN Testing & QC, SPR, DTO, OM and Engineering, OE, Logistics, EHSPURPOSE OF THE ROLE, RESPONSIBILTIES AND DELIVERABLES: • He/She stands for the values and culture of Siemens and lives them in true spirit. Leading and developing the organization according to Siemens Values and culture.• Acting as an entrepreneur and as an ambassador.• Manage resources to achieve revenue targets in line with the annual and monthly plan, and subsequent forecasts. • Ensure a successful cooperation and close communication with all stake holders.• Develop existing suppliers and take advantages of new opportunities to achieve growth objectives and take corrective action when targets and forecasts are not achieved. • Propose and agree clear, realistic, and achievable path to reach these aims, establish and retain a strong team, attract, integrate, and motivate all people in the local team with the necessary skills and commitment. • Ensure competence management of the whole team. Lead and motivate employees and teams to achieve the best possible results. • Represents the interests of the company to the outside world.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:• Maintain EHS and Quality standards.• Responsible for overall output and revenue of panels and IVAC/IPAN from Nashik• Manage free issue materials, vendor priorities and output as per our plan.• Contract management with vendor as per agreed terms and conditions.• Improve inventory turn and optimize overall cost.• Manage customer inspection, compliance, packing & dispatch.• Continuously analyze quality issues and customer complaints to improve processes and checks and improve overall customer inspection.• General administration for entire Nashik team of OAIS• Extend support for Nashik suppliers supplying to Kalwa• Continuous improvement of space and material productivity.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:• He/She must be Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Graduate • Overall, 15 years of experience with >10 years of handling of AIS panels manufacturing and testing.• Team management and vendor management experience is essential.• Experience of leading cross functional team is desired.
