Job SummaryThis role is responsible for all network, telecom, audio visual & collaboration platforms across Farmers Insurance, along with Incident prevention & incident response for these platforms. This role is tasked with managing the health of our critical platforms by ensuring the Service Level Agreements are met with our key vendors such as British Telecom, Cisco, Zurich, WWT & DXC.
Essential Job Functions Manage business and IT stakeholders for the daily operational quality of Farmers network, telecom and collaboration platforms Ensure platforms are operating at the service level with all vendors (24/7, Verint, NICE, Cisco, Mutare, Microcall) Provide leadership in the area of business case development on strategic and transformation programs. For example: a. build collaboration roadmap between Farmers and Zurich our Contingent supplier, b. Design the interoperability solution for our collaboration platforms c. Innovative upgrades to our platforms to protect our critical assets Provide leadership on all incident responses for all severity relating to the platforms Provide thought leadership on how to move our telephony platform to the cloud Align with Zurich and implement industry standard monitoring capabilities across our network and telco landscape. Education RequirementsBachelor's degree preferred.
Experience RequirementsThis role should have at least 10 years of experience in the Network, Telecom and Collaboration field and at least 5 years as a senior leader. The expectation of this role is extensive networking, telco and collaboration toolset background knowledge to cover all areas of the field. Technical skills align with the needed knowledge. This role will not be hands-on but requires the technical aptitude to understand and drive the day to day operational activities and the transformation roadmaps for network, telco & collaboration.
