On behalf of a highly respected charitable provider who has been recognised with the Investors in People Gold for over ten years, I am collaborating with them in their search for their new Head of Operations.
Their person-centred approach enables them to work strategically with commissioners to develop bespoke provisions within supported living, residential and day services, which achieves the desired outcome for their people.
Due to an internal promotion, they are now seeking to appoint a new Head of Operations who can continue to deliver exceptional leadership and guidance across the organisation.
Role Overview:
You will lead on operations and be accountable for day-to-day support services across the organisationEnsure the people who use your services are at the centre of every aspect of the service they receive, whilst ensuring that organisational, statutory and legislative requirements are met. Provide professional leadership in line with the operational agenda, ensuring your efficacy and fit with the organisation's values, ethos, culture and strategy.Ensure the organisation has highly effective well-implemented operational strategies, which align to the company's core business, and deliver positive outcomes.
Core Duties
Demonstrate and provide decisive and clear leadership to direct reports and the wider organisation Ensure contractual requirements are adhered to and monitor compliance Support organisational growth and development Monitor the external landscape for emerging themes and changes in government policies. Ensure budgets are, monitored and adhered to Ensure policies and procedures are implemented across Bethphage Ensure compliance with Safeguarding policies Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory and legislative Produce reports which evaluate accidents, incidents and near misses reported into our Care Management System (CMS), identifying trends and themes and positive action to improve future outcomes. To contribute, as a member of the Executive Team, to the planning and strategic development of the organisation. Prepare quarterly reports and attend Board meetings to advise trustees on operational matters and provide assuranceEssential requirements
Minimum of a level five in Health and Social care and, or management qualification. Minimum of ten years' experience working in the care sector working with people with disabilities Experience of working with people with one or more of the following conditions: Autism, Mental Health, Dementia, Acquired brain injury and people with complex needs Demonstrable experience working at a senior level Experience of leading and delivering projects A track record of working with local authorities, commissioners and families.
