Head of Organic, APAC ex-China

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Head of Organic for the APAC region to lead our organic strategies across diverse markets. This role will be pivotal in driving our company's approach to SEO forward, with a strong focus on leading the company through industry changes amidst the rapid advancement of AI technologies. The ideal candidate will be deeply client-forcused, adept at demonstrating the tangible value of SEO, capable of managing a team P&L, and skilled at driving knowledge across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
+ Develop and implement comprehensive organic strategies for the APAC region, with a particular focus on major markets including Southeast Asia, Korea and Japan.
+ Lead the integration of AI technologies into our SEO practices, staying at the forefront of emerging trends and tools in the field.
+ Serve as the key throught leader for organic across the company, driving evolving best practices throughout the organization.
+ Develop and lead regular training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to elevate expertise across all departments.
Client Management
+ Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and develop tailored strategies that deliver measureable results.
+ Drive client projects end-to-end, including strategy development, project planning, execution, and reporting.
+ Implement robust reporting and analytics processes to clearly demostrate the ROI and value of organic initiative to clients.
+ Provide a high standard of project and account management to clients
Team Management
+ Lead and develop a high-performing team of SEO professionals across the APAC region.
+ Manage team performance, setting objectives, conducting regular reviews, and tracking individual and team KPIs.
+ Optimize team structure and headcount, including recruitment and resource allocation to meet business needs.
+ Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Financial Management
+ Participate in client pitches to drive more business
+ Manage a P&L of your team, including budget planning, revenue forecasting, and cost control to ensure profitaible growth of the team.
+ Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency within the team.
Collaborative Innovation
+ Collaborative with other internal teams to develop and deploy innovative AI-driven solutions for clients.
Qualifications
+ Proven experience (10+ years) in SEO, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
+ Extensive knowledge of APAC markets
+ Demonstrated expertise in AI-driven digital strategies and tools
+ Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SEO tools and data analysis platforms, including Dragon Metrics, Screaming Frog, and other industry-standard tools
+ Excellent client relationship management skills with a track record of delivering and communicating value
+ Proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights for clients and team members
+ Experience in developing and delivering training programs and thought leadership content
+ Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and influence across the organization
+ Fluency in English; proficiency in one or more Asian languages is a plus
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
+ Proven experience in P&L management, including budget planning, financial forecasting, and driving profitable growth
+ Strong business acumen with the ability to make data-driven decisions that balance client needs with business profitability
