Your Role 

At MilliporeSigma, as the Manager of Paid Media, you will lead the transformation and strategy of our paid media channels, including Display, Video, Paid Social, and Programmatic. This includes elevating our creative, determining channel and media mix, taking data-driven approaches to budget allocation, planning our customer calendar together with our integrated marketing and business partners, and managing a team of marketing specialists. We are at a unique inflection point with our investment in these channels and are looking for a high-performing leader with a growth mindset willing to challenge and hold themselves and their team accountable to maximizing the impact of our performance marketing channels. 

 

This role is Remote, or hybrid in Burlington, MA or St. Louis, MO. 

 

Responsibilities 

Lead the transformation and elevation of our paid media channels, including Display, Video, Paid Social and Programmatic 

Develop & oversee the strategy of our always-on paid media programs and our full funnel campaigns 

Lead a team of marketing specialists responsible for media planning, media buying, campaign optimization 

Hold yourself and the team accountable to financial targets and maximizing customer and business outcomes/impact through world-class performance reporting and monitoring of KPIs 

Collaborate closely with Test & Learn, Integrated Marketing, Franchise and Business Unit stakeholders to plan full funnel campaigns throughout the year 

Improve the quality and effectiveness of our creative, including elevating always-on programs like Retargeting through creative refresh and experimentation 

Set the strategy for the use of MarTech solutions like dynamic creative optimization (DCO), the role of additional DSPs, media planning tools like Kantar or Global Web Index, and more 

Create a robust creative and channel testing strategy in partnership with the Test & Learn team and other stakeholders 

 

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications 

8+ years' experience working in and leading Display, Video, Paid Social and Programmatic digital marketing channels 

Experience with Google Analytics, and data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau or similar, and Excel 

Experience building and successfully leading teams of marketing specialists 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

Planning & executing full funnel campaigns, including media mix and channel allocation, audience identification, targeting, and execution across media publishers/platforms 

Working with Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) like Google DV360 

Writing campaign briefs 

Writing effective creative briefs and experience being part of creative review cycles, with a strong understanding of how to create world class creatives to increase impact 

Experience working with Marketing Mix Models (MMMs) 

Proven track record of building and scaling paid media channels with the purpose of driving incremental revenue
