Head of Partner Banking (Banking as a Service)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Understand Valley's strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in class. Build deep understanding of our different types of partner segments and Valley's respective strengths/weaknesses for each segment. Partners with operations and technology to develop and implement payment processing capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business lines to execute ideas through all aspects of the partner lifecycle across products, legal, compliance, operations, audit and executive team. Profit and loss responsibility for Partner Banking within Valley. Develops, coaches, mentors, and manages a team of total rewards professionals. Motivates staff reviews and assesses performance, develops and builds employee skills, supports their professional development, and enables employees to optimize their contribution to the department. Define success criteria & metrics for the team's work, and positively impact those metrics. Perform other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor.
