The Position

Job Summary:

The BA Head will have both strategic and tactical responsibility for planning, marketing, sales and distributor management in China.  Accountable for building and passionately driving the operation.  Have full profit and loss responsibilities for Pathology Lab.

The Opportunity:

Act as key collaborate with Regional/Global Marketing Groups to acquire resources from the Headquarters.

Lead product launch processes and ensuring all the achievements are met.

Represent the company on BA related matters to interact with its business partners and key customers.

Lead and monitor (directly and indirectly) the effective operation of the sales, marketing, and customer service.

Coach and support staff development to build a high performing team.

Drive and be accountable for the succession planning for the critical roles and leadership positions to ensure talent pipeline is sufficient.

Develop and implement strategies covering effective management of distributors, own sales force, the pathology lab channels, product and marketing support, supply, pricing and ensuring products sold in China comply to local regulatory requirements

Define and resolve market opportunities, product positioning and service initiatives while closely supervising competitors’ and related industry trends. Identifying emerging/future business developments

Identify, establish and/or lead distributors, alliance partners and/or critical business relationships to achieve efficient business growth and goal achievement

Who You Are:

Education& Qualifications:

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience, preferred in a science / medical related subject area. Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA will be an asset.  

Experience:

A minimum of 12 years of progressive career experience in sales and marketing management with a major

Multinational pharmaceutical / medical devices company where a sophisticated operating system is in place.  

Experience in In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) industry is preferred but not a pre-requisite.
