What is the position of the Head of PCBA Commodity Europe about?

You will be responsible to shape and develop the material group for electromechanical components in Europe:

- analysing the product requirements from customers, markets and other stakeholders
- deriving a material group strategy to enable and sustain a competitive supplier portfolio in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
- observing the market situation and execution of the strategy in short and mid term focus
- initiating savings potentials, implementing relevant measures together with the responsible purchasing organisation
- analysing regional and global suppliers, identifying opportunities for improvement and deriving corresponding qualification measures with the involvement of internal organisational units in order to optimise the process chain between the supplier and Forvia
- consolidate annual material requirements and conduct negotiations with responsible suppliers (granting) to achieve optimal purchase prices
- contribute to the creation of Standards for the development of purchasing strategies, operational processes and sourcing activities for the purchasing organisation in close consultation with the head office or the business unit
